1. For those arriving from the direction of Kingwilliamstown on the N2

Take the first turn-off from the N2 into Grahamstown.  The road into the town ends at a Stop sign opposite Market Square, on which there is a shopping centre.  At the Stop sign turn left into Market Street.  Continue to the end of Market Street, where it forms a T-junction with Somerset Street.  Turn right into Somerset Street.  A few metres down the road, on your left-hand side, you will see the entry into a small gravel lane with 25' on the outside (it is directly opposite a street called Donkin St.  Turn into the lane.  Our house is about ten metres down the lane on the left-hand side.

Briefly: take first turn-off to Grahamstown from the N2.  Turn left into Market St at the Stop sign.  At the end of Market St turn right into Somerset St.  Number 25 is a few metres down a small gravel lane on your left-hand side.

2. For those arriving from the direction of Port Alfred (on the R67)

The road leading into Grahamstown crosses the N2 and ends at a Stop street opposite Market Square (see no. 1 above).  The rest of the directions are as in 1. above.

3. For those arriving from the direction of Port Elizabeth on the N2

Take the first turn-off from the N2 into Grahamstown.  At the first traffic lights, turn right into the upper section of Somerset Street.  About half-way up there is a small gravel lane on your right-hand side with '25' on the outside (the lane is opposite Donkin St).  Turn into the lane.  Our house is a few metres down the lane, on the left-hand side.

4. For those arriving from the direction of Fort Beaufort (on the R67)

Follow the signs to the N2. Travel on the N2 in the direction of Port Elizabeth.  Follow the instructions as in 1. above.

5. For those arriving from the direction of Cradock (on the R350)

The road into Grahamstown leads straight into Somerset Street.  Continue along Somerset Street until you come to traffic lights at the intersection of Somerset and Beaufort Streets.  Go through the traffic lights into the upper section of Somerset Street, where it climbs steeply.  Above half-way up this part of the street there is a small gravel lane on your right-hand side with '25' on the outside (the lane is opposite Donkin St).  Turn into the lane.  Our house is a few metres down the lane, on the left-hand side.
