A Word About the Speaker

Lathicia Klackers is  minister's wife who is based in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth.

They have been blessed with three children. Lathicia has over 20 years of extensive marriage counselling experience. In 1988 she travelled to the U.S.A., where she was introduced to the Divorce Recovery Programme, which she brought back to South Africa, to rewrite and make relevant to the local needs of people. In 1990, after 12 months of intensive research, she launched the first South African Divorce Recovery Workbook, and is still used as a tool in her Divorce Recovery Workshops. Over 25,000 divorcees have attended her seminars and  can testify to healing and restoration in their lives. Lathicia also runs workshops on enhancing communication skills, on conflict resolution and on improving the individual's self-image.

In 1991 she produced the first South African children's video - "Mom and Dad are Divorced but I'm OK.
In 1998 she wrote her first book, "I'm Divorced I'm OK", which was launched in August.
